Some highlights from what was my most comprehensive & laid back wedding photo assignment ever:  A Mexico destination wedding at the Now Sapphire Riviera Resort in Cancun for Molly who lives in Texas now and who was in attendance at a 2005 Miami-Bal Harbour wedding I shot.  For five days we (some 80 guests) convened daily around the swimming pool and the guests partied in the evenings.  We did a variety of photo shoots including one after the wedding with Molly’s Vera Weng!  And before the wedding we did engagement sessions, cigar party, rehearsal events, and a post-wedding beach shoot with the couple before we went home.

ALSO WHILE IN MEXICO: Below and at this link is a little preview from a great portrait session we had with Michelle, whose Miami wedding I photographed years ago and who has a new baby girl, Sabine. I met up with her family in Mexico at this same destination wedding we were both attending.

Kathy gets a prize for the ‘Dancing Queen’, high-energy bride-of-the-month at a destination wedding reception & party she and her husband Marc orchestrated at the rooftop Revolving Restaurant overlooking the Ocean, Port Everglades and Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Beautiful event!

The Canadian quarterly, ‘Winnipeg Women,’ has published their feature & photo story: ‘Shall We Dance? The Art of Dressage’ on one of the star equestrian competitors in our Palm Beach equestrian community.  Special thanks to the young lady’s mom & brother for helping behind the scenes!  I also made a custom book project based on the shoot for Ariana’s family.

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed shooting an engagement session so much lately, or laughed so hard while working, as we did on this one last night for Robert & Michelle, one of my upcoming wedding clients on deck for Boca Raton. Here are a few highlights while I work on their engagement custom book. Robert hammed it up and kept the humor and commentary going, and Michelle looked stunning. Robert has served overseas recently in the U.S. Army.
