April 30: Maestro Jose Luis and Niurca, at University Center for the Performing Arts, Fort Lauderdale: “Intimate Spaces,” a flamenco concert. This husband & wife team are world class performers AND scholars! I did a week-long flamenco appreciation class (and guitar) with Niurca & Jose Luis, during “Flamenco in the Sun” in 2006 or so.
